<td width="400" align="justify" valign="baseline">CHIANG MAI &#8211; HMONG HILLTRIBE LODGE</p>
<p>Pick up passengers from hotels, airport, railway station and bus  terminal in Chiang Mai. Depart Chiang Mai by 4WD Land Rover or similar  to Hilltribes Museum at Mae Rim and local market at Mae Malai. Then  continue to Ban Muang Kued of Mae Taeng. Participate in an exciting and  unforgettable experience elephant safari through the rain-forested  jungle for an hour include ox-cart riding.<br />
Picnic lunch. Embark on the inflatable rafts for an adventurous journey  down the rapids in the white and scenic Mae Taeng River for about an  hour (Dependable on season). Continue by 4WD to Ban Huey Rai, passing  several villages, orchards, valleys, and rice fields. A brief stop is  made at Wat Tha Kham the most significant temple in that area. Then  continue your driving pass Ban Mae Salong village and drive up hill to  Ban Pang Hai, a simple village 830 metres above sea level.</p>

<p>After breakfast, take the four wheeler to a small village of Ban Teen  Doi where you make a short stroll to Mae Pa. Then get into action by  mountain biking to Ban Palan. Visit a small village reservoir. Continue  biking to Ban Pong Kwaw, where there is and old temple with beautiful  wall painting. After picnic lunch, drive on the mountain road through  Ban Pok, Ban Pang Kwai and Ban Nong Hoi Mai Hmong village. Then get into  action again by trekking or mountain biking from Nong Hoi Mai down to  Mae Khi village where you can have coffee or tea in the Hmong’s kitchen.  Return to Hmong Hilltribe Lodge for dinner and overnight.<br />

Upon arrival at the Ngurah Rai airport on the isthmus of the peninsula,  you will be met and transferred to Ubud where you will spend the  following 4 nights. If you are already on the island, you will be picked  up from the hotel where you were staying. The trip to Ubud takes no  more than an hour and a half, and we’ll check you into the Camplung Sari  Hotel for a total of four nights. From here you are within walking  distance to the center of town. The rest of the day is free at your  leisure.<br />

Breakfast at the hotel. We pick you up at the hotel to take you on an  exhilarating 2 hours descent that covers 13 kilometers down the famous  Ayung River. You will paddle over 25 rapids, pass numerous waterfalls,  fern filled canyons, sleepy grottoes, through narrow gorges and swift  moving torrents. During the voyage you will see nature run wild;  untouched tropical rainforest greets you on every side; the scenery is  always changing, the rafting continuously fun. We provide ‘River-dry’  bags for your camera. At the end of the trip, an excellent buffet lunch  is served in the award winning BALI GARDEN Restaurant located on the  bank of the Ayung River. There are shower facilities available for you  to use before we take you back to your hotel. You return in the early  afternoon and you have plenty of time left for further private  activities.</p>

Breakfast at the hotel. We pick you up from the hotel and take you to  the 14 km wide caldera of Mount Batur. The mountain cycling ‘BATUR  TRAIL’ descends right from the lip of the famous volcano. Using new  aluminum “Montana Lightweight” mountain bikes, we cycle down from 5,000  feet, through spectacular mountain scenery, areas of dense tropical rain  forest, past bamboo plantations and isolated hamlets. We provide  extremely well maintained bicycles, mountain bike helmets and gloves.  Support vehicles with cool drinks and cold towels are never far away. We  finish our journey back in Ubud and an excellent lunch will be served  before you return to your hotel.<br />

Early breakfast at hotel. Deep in the heart of Bali lies dense untouched  tropical rain forest. Our Mountain trail enables you to experience the  sights and sounds of the incredibly diverse ecosystem that lies beneath  the primeval canopy of the jungle. We transfer you to one of Bali’s  still active volcanoes and our mountain guide leads you on an  unforgettable experience through fascinating woodlands, the home of  monkeys, wild boar, deer and Bali’s magnificent bird life. We rest in  the dense forest, and an excellent lunch is provided at the end of the  trek before we take you back by air-conditioned vehicles to your hotel  in Ubud.<br />

<p>Pick up from hotel in Chiang Mai by local truck with guide for 1.5 hours  drive to the area of Pha Mieng, then walk through orchards and down a  steep jungle path to the waterfall and pool of Pha Mieng. Swim in the  large pool, then walk (15 min) to the Lahu Village. Walk along jungle  trails to the remote village of Hmong Pha Mieng (1.5 hrs). Meet the  inhabitants of this small hilltribe in a jungle clearing, then enjoy a  picnic lunch. Walk to the top of the mountain (1.5 hrs), where the Red  Lahu Village of Pha Daeng is located. Visit the Lahu temple and enjoy a  cup of Chinese tea with a village family. Walk along a mountain ridge to  the Lahu Village of Kup Kap (1 hr). The views from thes village are  spectacular, looking south to the valley far below or west to the  mountain peaks stretching towards Burma. Enjoy the friendly attention of  the curious Lahu villagers.<br />

<p>After breakfast at Lahu Outpost, take a one and a half hour walk  downhill to Huay Satern waterfall, then ride an elephant for a 1 hr  downhill to Mae Taeng Elephant Camp. A picnic lunch by the river, then a  white water rafting ride of 1 hr down the river (grade 1 to 2),  arriving at the Thai village of Muang Gurt. Then walk for approx. 45  minutes to the Akha of Huay Pong, where you will enjoy a cup of tea and a  chat with the Shaman (doctor). Then, downhill (mainly) for another 40  minutes to the award winning Lisu Lodge, arriving late afternoon. In the  evening, enjoy dinner and a display of Lisu culture with music and  dancing.<br />

<p>Breakfast at Lisu Lodge. Take a cultural tour of the village with one of  the Lisu elders, with your guide as a translator. See the shrine of the  village&#8217;s guardian spirit and other aspect sof Lisu culture. Take a 1.5  hr. ox-cart ride through farmland and forest to the large country  village of Baan Pang Mai Daeng. Lunch at local restaurant in Chiang Dao.  Afternoon, drive to visit a more primitive Palong hilltribe village  before starting with a 2 hr trekking from Karen to Lahu village, then 30  minutes transfer to the Lanna Farm for dinner.<br />

<td width="400" align="justify" valign="baseline">Depart Ban Tha Ton by vehicle to visit  Shan &amp; Akha villages. Board one of our customised river barges in  the Ban Pha Tai Black Lahu Village and raft down river through stunning  scenery. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a shaded river bank spot and then  continue down river through one or two ‘light’ rapids. Canoes are  carried on board for those who wish to use them. Upon arriving at the  forestry research station, begin an (optional) mini trek of 1.5 hrs to a  Musur village then continue onto our river base camp for an overnight  stop. Accommodation is in basic bamboo bungalows overlooking the river.  Dinner is a BBQ meal served on linen clad trestle tables, then relax  around the campfire.<br />

<td width="400" align="justify" valign="baseline">After a full American breakfast,  continue rafting down river through gorges and past isolated hill tribe  villages. The children in the villages are always keen to wave and  excitedly call ‘hello!’ from the banks. Canoes are available for use if  requested. A stop is made at the hot springs. Take a 1.5 hr Elephant  Safari from a point on the river bank that takes you through the  surrounding jungle, followed by lunch in a local restaurant. Then  reboard the river barge for the final leg of the journey down to Chiang  Rai boat jetty (arriving app 15:00 hrs).<br />
Return to Ban Tha Ton by road.<br />

Drive to the mountain temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most  famous landmark of Chiang Mai. Drive up the mountain, passing the Phu  Phing Palace. Turn onto a rough dirt road to the Chiang Khien coffee  research project. Continue to the white Hmong village of Chiang Khien  and enjoy a quick cup of steaming mountain tea with a village family. A  one hour drive along a mountain ridge, then down to the Mae Sa Valley  for lunch at Orchid Farms. Then 40 minute drive to Thai village of Pang  Mai Daeng, and enjoy ox-cart riding for 1.30 hrs. to Lisu Lodge. Here, a  short rest in the living area before a village trip guided by one of  the family heads to see a little of Lisu customs and culture. Dinner in  our lodge. Over dinner, enjoy Lisu music from one of our village teams  of Lisu banjo players and dancing by girls from the village.<br />

In the morning, join a transfer by local taxi (songtaew) to the starting  point (Baan Huay Pong, about 1 hour drive) for your easy jungle walk to  an Akha village where you will meet a Hilltribe family and enjoy tea or  soft drink. Then cycle (mainly down hill) for about 8 km to the Mae  Taeng Elephant Camp. From here, you will enjoy a 1 hour to 1.30 hours  elephant ride through the beautiful mountain scenery. Picnic lunch by  the Mae Taeng River. After picnic at the elephant camp, embark on an  inflatable raft for a 1 or 1.30 hours white water rafting on the Mae  Taeng River. Then transfer by local taxi (songtaew) to the Lisu Lodge  (30 minutes drive). Dinner.<br />

After breakfast, depart by 4WD car from Lisu Lodge to Pong Duad Hot  Spring. Enjoy walking around the beautiful National Park and experience  mineral water bathing. Continue on road to Mork Fah Waterfall, stopping  enroute to visit Karen Ban Huay Phra Chao Tribe. Picnic lunch will be  served by the large natural pool at the foot of the waterfall in a  narrow valley of luxurious tropical plants, suitable for swimming.  Onward transfer to Chiang Mai. You can keep the car and guide until  18:00 hours.<br />

Morning at leisure until 0930. Transfer to the starting point of your  rafting adventure. Equipment preparation, and basic introduction on  safety and paddling techniques. Board the rafts and paddle down river,  making a stop for lunch and swim at the Suza WaterFall. The river cuts  through beautiful scenery and takes you to our jungle camp where you  will spend the night. Dinner at the camp is prepared by your guides.</p>

After breakfast, board the rafts and continue downstream to meet a  larger river Pai River As you come the junction, the river gets bigger  with more swells and this is where the action begins! Raft through a  number of different sets of rapids. Picnic lunch on the river bank.  Mid-afternoon pull in to the river bank where rafting ends. Transfer to  Mae Hong Son airport or drop off at hotel.<br />

Pick up you from hotels in Chiang Mai and depart Chiang Mai by 4WD Land  Rover or similar to Hilltribes Museum at Mae Rim. Then continue to Mae  Taeng Elephant Camp for elephant safari through the rain forest jungle  for 1 hour include ox-cart riding. After picnic lunch, embark on the  inflatable raft down the rapids in the white and scenic Mae Taeng River  for about an hour (Dependable on season). Continue by four wheeler to  Ban Huey Rai, passing several villages, orchard, valleys and rice  fields. A brief stop is made at Wat Tha Kham the most significant temple  in that area. Then drive pass Salong village and drive uphill to Ban  Pang Hai, a simple village, 830 metres above sea level. Check-in for  accommodation. B-B-Q dinner followed by presentations of the Hmong tribe  cultural shows.<br />

<td width="400" align="justify" valign="baseline">After breakfast, take the 4WD to a  small village of Ban Teen Doi where you can make a short stroll to Mae  Pa. Then get into action by mountain biking to Ban Palan. Visit a small  reservoir of the village. Continue biking to Ban Pong Kwaw, where there  is an old temple with beautiful wall painting. After picnic lunch, drive  on the mountain road to visit Hmong village at Nong Hoi and the Royal  Project. Then proceed to Chiang Mai and transfer to the hotel.<br />

The day begins with a  moderate walk along a track, following a stream up through mix deciduous  forest for an average of 3 hours. Continue going uphill, reaching a  ridge with spectacular vies. Keep going along the beautiful ridge for  about 2 hours towards a Karen Village. Time to rest and enjoy the simple  atmosphere of villager. Dinner and overnight.<br />

This is a great site for night  observation for any keen participants. Overnight is spent under a sturdy  bamboo shelter.<br />

Continue down hill 3 hours to the Pai River where you will be spending  the night next to the camp fire on the side of the Pai River. Another  excellent time for observing life<br />
alongside the river. Learn some bush survival techniques as your dinner is cooked using mainly bamboo.<br />
